Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a project that I have worked on as a developer whilst working at @CinimodStudio. For full details please see the project on the Cinimod Studio website.

Disney’s first full-length animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remains one of the most iconic Walt Disney films, and for its time, the most innovative feature length animation. It has been brought back to life as the inspiration behind Dominic Harris’ new artwork. This new work displays these characters in an impressive technologically advanced interactive art object that can be enjoyed by all.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are featured in a set of high-resolution flat video panels, comparative in scale with single/multiple user interactions. These eight pieces offer a unique opportunity to interact with each distinct character, removing them their collective setting and allowing for engagement with signature personality traits. Using a combination of technologies, including complex logic based software systems, Harris has created an artwork that allows the viewer to directly effect and engage with each of the characters.
